Brad Burns

Brad is a finance & commercial executive with 20+ years’ international experience gained from roles he has worked in across Australia & the United Kingdom. This has included working with large well-respected organisations including Hastings Deering as part of the Sime Darby Group & HSBC. He has assumed Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer & Commercial roles that has allowed him to gain skills and experiences in key business areas including; Business & Strategy Planning, Financial & Commercial Management, Change Management, Organisational Design, Leading & Managing Teams as well as Health & Safety Culture Leadership.

During his career he has negotiated and executed more than A$3bn of bi-lateral, club & syndicated fixed term, working capital & structured leasing facilities, as well as managing the financial risk of a portfolio of more than $500m of FX & $300m of Interest Rate Derivates.

He successfully worked with the board for a startup technology services business within the Mining industry that raised cA$41m of capital that transitioned the business from pre- revenue to commercialisation as well as working with the leadership team for a private company that achieved its highest revenue result in the company’s history.

Brad has also successfully worked with teams completing the integration of five acquisition deals with an aggregate purchase value of greater than $800m and has a demonstrated history of financial compliance, successfully managing the accounting and tax compliance for multiple companies audited by PWC, KPMG and Ernst & Young. He is a member of CPA Australia.
